The America you live in.
Unbelievable. If your life sucks, I'm sorry. But don't ruin the life of an innocent person, her 3 children and generations of people in their family because you are emotionally distressed.
This country contiunes to disintegrate before our eyes on a daily basis. Here is just one example:
ATLANTA, Georgia (AP) -- A lovesick teenage girl drove into an oncoming car in a suicide attempt that she counted down "8, 7, 6..." in a text message to the female classmate who spurned her, authorities said. The teenager survived but a woman in the other car -- a mother of three -- died.
Louise Egan Brunstad, 16, was charged Thursday with felony murder. Prosecutors said they intend to try her as an adult. If convicted, she faces an automatic life sentence.

thats terrible. this is not what we want from life. what kinda life she will have after this accident? does she deserve a life sentence ? or its too much for her or may be too less....???

Equally as sad is the twin that stabbed and killed his own twin in TN last week over a a pack of gum.

We have always been a selfish nation, but lately we have regressed back to the days when you got mad and just killed. It's like the old frontier, or the wild west. All the en vogue drugs in the world cannot seem to help the enormous percentage of people out there who are just completely unstable. I remember when I had a huge crush on a girl when I was in high school. She didn't like me back. I didn't go driving into another car to end my pathetic life. I brooded for a few days, then went on living. America is a sad place right now.

I got mad at my parents once. Real mad....did I kill them? No. When my friend stole my girlfriend, did I stab him multiple times and then go driving into another car killing someone else? No. This is America as we know it today. You get teased, you bomb your school and take other lives as retribution. It's time for a radical change in thinking.

hmmmmm........ you are right. this aspect was not in my mind.... but still i dont think any punishment is sufficient enough for one life gone and atleast 4 lives (3 kids and husband) disturbed forever.
